Matrimonial financial matters are a core area of our practice. We provide independent opinions and evidence relating to business valuation, forensic accounting, and financial analysis for the equalization or division of family property, as well as income determination for support purposes. Our services also include tracing income and assets in assessing excluded property, and reviewing or critiquing other expert opinions and analyses.

Our valuation and forensic services also extend to other matters, including income tax and estate planning, regulatory reporting, business transactions, shareholder disputes, damages claims, and other civil litigation matters.

Jen Capuno provides independent financial expert and consulting services, with a focus on business valuation, securities valuation, forensic accounting, litigation support, and other complex financial matters. Her work is prepared independently and is intended to assist judges, arbitrators, counsel, and clients in understanding and addressing complex financial issues. She has particular experience in financial matters related to family law. Her services also extend to income tax and estate planning, economic damages quantification, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, shareholder disputes, and employee compensation and benefits.

 Before VFDR Inc., she worked in valuation, forensic accounting, and litigation support, and earlier in her career worked in audit, assurance, financial reporting, and investment accounting.
